Machut’s Supper Club was founded in November 1961 by Norman & Lorraine Machut & is still owned & operated by family to this day. The establishment originally opened under the name “Babe & Norm’s Bar,” later renamed “Machut’s” and then “Machut’s Supper Club,” as it’s known today.

The first menu items were hamburgers & Mexican-style chili, which were served at the bar (no dining room yet!).  Family-style roasted chicken was added & we began serving in our lower level party room.  There were no kitchen facilities on that level; all of the food was carried down a flight of stairs from the kitchen in the living quarters.  As popularity grew, a kitchen was added to the lower level.

In 1964, Machut’s began serving broasted meats (chicken, pork chops, & perch).  The main dining room & kitchen were completed in 1968.  The main building, which once housed our living quarters and barroom, was completely remodeled and enlarged in 1980 into our present spacious barroom, which now seats 75.   Our banquet room, which seats up to 100, was completed one year later.  In Fall 1988, our downstairs party room was renovated and made available to groups having their dinner banquet with us.
